Annual general meeting
Due to the spread of the corona virus, the Board of Directors of Bergs Timber AB has decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting to a later date. Bergs Timber returns with notice to the Annual General Meeting no later than four weeks before the new date. In accordance with current legislation, the AGM will be held no later than June 30, 2020.
Shareholders' rights to make decisions on company matters are exercised by the AGM, which is Bergs Timber's highest decision-making body. The Bergs Timber AGM is held no later than six months after the end of the split financial year in August. It is usually held in Målilla in January. The AGM venue and date are published no later than in conjunction with the third quarter report. At the earliest, the AGM summons is published six weeks prior to the AGM and no later than four weeks prior.
The AGM deals with the development of the company and decisions are taken on central issues such as dividends, changes in the articles of association, the election of auditors, discharge of the board from liability, remuneration to the board and auditors, and the election of new board members and chairman until the end of the next AGM.
